The American Artists Professional League is sponsoring this inaugural event, and I am happy to have been juried into the exhibition. My pastel Grapes & Pears Still Life has been included along with 174 other works by some of the most accomplished artists in the country. The exhibition can be viewed at www.aaplinc.org.

I have been invited to exhibit a couple of pieces in Suerno Eterno at the College of the Desert. This event is an all-figurative exhibition exploring how we live with loss, memory, and care. The exhibition considers grief not as a crisis to escape, but as a sustained practice of attention. Through painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, and 3D printing, the works will reflect on how figures can carry memory, absence, and the evidence that love occured.

I am pleased to have been juried in the California Art Club “Turning Tides” Virtual Online Exhibition. The CAC sponsors several online exhibitions annually and it is a privilege to be recognized and accepted in to these wonderful events. The 14th Annual Joshua Tree National Park Art Expo will be held from November 6 - 29, 2026 and I am once again honored to be participating. My pastel “A Day in Plein Air” has been juried into the wonderful event. I actually created this pastel while in France in August. It is so exciting to depicting the art of Plein Air which I have done many times in Joshua Tree NP. The reception will be held on November 7th at 29 Palms Art Gallery from 4-7pm.
